The Office of Public Information under the Liberty City Fire Department is integral to keep transparency between the agency and the citizens of Liberty City that the department serves. Offering information on incidents, events and insight into the department through Information requests inline with the Freedom of Information Act 1967.
The Office of Public Information is entirely committed to building new and strengthening relations between members of the public and local organisations in an effort to continue with the goal of continually educating and increasing public awareness on fire, life safety and disaster preparedness as well as enforcement of public safety and fire codes.
